Taia Lockhart

Vice President, Housing Advocacy, The PMI Group, Inc.

As Vice President of Housing Advocacy, Taia Lockhart helps to build support for public policy positions, strengthen relationships with consumer, special interest, and affinity groups, and coordinate internal communications on housing initiatives.

Lockhart joined PMI in 1997 as director of product development. Most recently, Lockhart served as Vice President of Expanding Markets and Marketing, where she focused on multi-cultural and affordable housing markets, as well as outreach to special interest and community groups.

Prior to PMI, Lockhart was Vice President of Community Reinvestment Act Products and Programs at BankAmerica Mortgage, as well as Vice President of National Operations Support.

Lockhart holds a B.A. in organizational leadership from Mid-Continent University.
